Equipment Shelters

The Equipment Shelters business, better known as JK Shelters, is a manufacturer of cellular equipment shelters and outdoor BTS cabinets for ACTOWERS. Its products are supplied throughout Africa and South Africa.

An equipment shelter or outdoor BTS cabinet is supplied for every tower site erected, either as a roof top or a greenfields project. The innovative “outdoor cabinet” is suitable for smaller sites or sites requiring retrofitting or upgrading where space within the original equipment shelter is limited.

The product series was recently launched with much success and enthusiasm. This series have been deployed within the same target market as currently serviced by Equipment Shelters.This company has the capability to inject poly urethane into “panel” products instead of traditional poly styrene. These panels can be used, inter alia, in the building of houses, offices and large storage cold rooms.

Riaan Jonker has recently been appointed as the new Managing Director of JK Shelters and he brings with him a wealth of experience.
